In the Royal Theater is CATS, the ship’s Broadway musical, telling the story of a tribe of cats called the Jellicles. Other than the Broadway production, the Royal Theater hosts comedians, game shows, and guest performers during any Oasis of the Seas sailing. Within the Adventure Ocean program, children up to 12 are split into various age groups and programming is available nearly round-the-clock. Ocean view rooms feature the same décor, but more space and furnishings. There are staterooms and then there are staterooms, and Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas offered some of the best when it debuted. We found that it always worked and was fast enough to pull down larger files and stream movies. You will invariably run into lines in some areas of the ship, however. The buffet, Windjammer Marketplace, can get extremely crowded during peak dining hours, for example. And despite having a ticket, we felt like we were in a mosh pit as we waited to file into the AquaTheater. If you are unable to book a show in advance, there is always a standby line available to wait in, which means closer to show time, any open seats will be available on a first-come, first reserved basis. It is very common to be curious if Oasis is a "good ship", especially among new cruisers.

"Clash for the Crystal City" is a new laser tag game played at Studio B's Ice Rink (deck 3). If you want to see all the shows and entertainment on offer, you must book online in advance, as the theaters are simply not big enough to hold everyone. If you don't like planning your cruise activities before you board or hate lines, Oasis is probably not a great choice compared to Royal Caribbean's more intimate ships.
